Depending on your location, rentalcars.com can return so many vehicles that it can be a bit overwhelming.   RentalCars.com does cater for younger and older drivers, however, you cannot see if extra charges will be applied by the provider until you click onto an individual vehicle. Occasionally, cars which show up in searches are in fact unavailable when you try to reserve them.

How Rental Cars Works

RentalCars.com’s homepage contains a search box which lets you search available rental cars by date and location.  Once you’ve input your requirements, the site will return a list of vehicles sorted by value.  At the top of the screen, a vehicle category list allows you to refine the list by car type and a handy sidebar lets you choose specific requirements such as air conditioning or 4+ doors.  You can also choose to include or exclude particular providers in your search.  Once you have selected your vehicle, click on Book Now to reserve it, select whether you require additional insurance and then input your personal and payment information.  Depending on which partner organization you booked with, you’ll be given exact information on how, when and where to pick up your vehicle.  You can amend or cancel your booking via the RentalCars website.
